Top 3 Tips for Shopping Online

If you subscribe to my YouTube channel you might have noticed that I love a good fashion haul and I especially love a sale. So, today's post is about sharing some insights about shopping a sale online.

Before I get started with my tips, I want to say thank you to my YouTube family. Last week, I realised that you have watched my videos over 1000 times. This might be nothing to some people, but it means a lot to me.

When I started my YouTube channel, I wasn't sure if anyone would watch it. And while 1,000 views might be minuscule to some, I know that it's time you've taken out of your life to spend with me and to join me on my journey. Thank you!

• It’s better to shop a sale online than instore. I understand the worry about not trying it on first, but there's a benefit to shopping online. When you buy a sale item in a store, if you change your mind you can usually only exchange it for another item. On the other hand, when you buy a sale item online most of the time you get 14 days to return it for a refund. This gives you the option of buying it now and deciding whether you want to keep it later.
• Buy various sizes. To remove the worry of whether it will fit you or not, buy 2 or 3 sizes and usually one will fit. In fact, the stores that allow you to shop online expect you to do this. Many return forms usually offer a return reason of “I ordered multiple sizes”.
• For the easiest returns, shop your high street stores online. If you don’t like having to post clothing back, then shop online from a store near you, try on the clothes in the comfort of your home and if necessary you can return the items quickly and easily in your local store. There are exceptions such as ASOS, which doesn’t have a high street presence, but has a simple and quick returns process via a post office or even your local corner shop.
